[flytsim/OpenTLD3D-1] process has died

I installed the FlytOpenTLD from the github repo by following the steps: http://docs.flytbase.com/docs/FlytOS/GettingStarted/ReadytouseApps/VisualFollowMeApp.html#ready-visual-follow-me

  1. Cloned it, then built with catkin_make
  2. Gave the command: ‘source ./devel/setup.bash’

Until here, everything was correct I did not get any error.

When I execute the ‘roslaunch open_tld_3d open_tld_3d.launch global_namespace:=flytsim’ command

I’m getting

Also tried to change ‘flytsim’ to ‘flyt’,‘flytos’,‘flytpod’ for the global namespace. It has not solved the problem

Hi,

Can you instead run this command:

roslaunch open_tld_3d open_tld_3d.launch global_namespace:=flytsim --screen

Note –screen at the end.

This should dump some more info on your terminal. Once done, please post it here.

Hi,

We are working on it. Might be some armhf related issue, coz it is working fine in our laptop. We should be able to sort it out today.

Hi,

The flyt_open_tld_3d repo is now updated with the fix. Please pull the code for latest commit and try again.
The namespace in the roslaunch command should be same as the namespace used for flytos. If you are on latest version of flytos i.e. 1.3-4, the namespace would be ‘flytos’. You can check your flytos version by typing command - flytos_version.sh
