sorry for the trouble.
Please help us in debugging the problem.

Open a terminal in your laptop and run these commands:

$ curl -s http://localhost:3476/docker/cli
$ curl -s http://localhost:3476/docker/cli | awk -F ’ ’ ‘{print $2}’ | awk -F ‘:’ ‘{print $1}’ | sed s/–volume=//g

I had the same problem, but I had Ubuntu 18.04, I installed Ubuntu 16.04, the problem disappeared and everything was quickly installed.

I do have the same problem on Ubuntu 18.04. I think docker is used for working on any distribution.
Looking into it I found that nvidia-docker (ver. 1) does not installs on Ubuntu 18.
So no nvidia-docker volume so the curl commands give nothing.
Any other ideas that might help?
