Emergency landing API

Hello Srv,

We already discuss about emergency landing.
So we completed that part or not. Is there any api for emergency landing ?

Because position set api not land the drone successfully.

What is your definition of emergency landing? What is the difference between emergency and normal landing?

Emergency landing is just like return to base location During the mission.

Hi Trilok,

I think in consensus amongst drone operators, emergency landing is NOT return to base station. It might be Landing at the current/nearest safest location. Kindly verify the requirement from your client. If you need RTL, then your question has already been answered over here.

can you please tell me how i used vallabh’s api.
we have to change code manually at user end

i think this is not a good idea from user’s end.

Add a new entry to the file at /flyt/flytos/flytcore/share/core_api/launch/core_api_autopilot.launch in the arg name=“services” section, just before the closing square brackets. Add ,’/$(arg global_namespace)/mavros/cmd/command’

As mentioned by vallabh in his reply as well, this is a hack and a way around for NOW. When the next stable version be released, this would be sorted out and a special RTL API would be made available.
